     Periodontal Disease affects over 75% of adults in the United States and is the major cause of tooth loss among adults.  Recent studies have shown that people with gum disease are more at risk for  heart disease, stroke, pre-term & low birth-weight babies, cancer of the pancreas and tongue, chronic renal disease and respiratory disease.  People who smoke and those with poorly controlled diabetes also have a higher incidence of gum infection

and tooth loss. 

     Our practice prides itself in treating the whole person, not just a "set of teeth and gums".  We get to know you as a person, determine your dental goals, and help you find the way to a healthier smile and a healthier you.
